Week One: Lines & Shapes

It was great meeting all of you last Friday! Everyone jumped right in and started drawing-- there was paper all over the place! Overall, everyone caught on quickly to holding the pencil on its side (overhand grip), and moving your whole arm and shoulder while drawing. You also got the hang of drawing light lines (guidelines) before drawing darker outlines to finish. This Friday, we'll be drawing again with lines and shapes and we'll explore overlapping.
